Apple is having a Black Friday Sale…or are they?

apple-black-friday-imageFor the second year in a row, Apple is getting in on the Black Friday shopping craze by having an online-only Black Friday sale. Last year, they made headlines for getting in on the Black Friday bonanza, but when the big day finally arrived, Apple offered free shipping and only took 5%-10% off items!

We’re crossing our fingers that they’ll redeem themselves this year, but do note that Apple is calling this a “holiday shopping event,” not a Black Friday sale.

Finally! The Walmart Black Friday 2009 Ad is Released!

With over 30 pages of legitimately-great doorbuster deals, Walmart is laying claim to a large lead in 2009’s Black Friday race. Many of the best deals take place on Friday from 5-11am. The BestBuy Black Friday 2009 Ad is Here!

best-buy-black-friday-2009The BestBuy Black Friday 2009 ad features over 30 pages of gaming, computer and electronic deals. Stores open at 5am on Friday and to avoid frantic crowds, BestBuy will be distributing tickets on a first come first serve basis for hot items starting at 3am.

Highlights include the XBox 360 with 6 games for $299.99, the Nintendo DSi is $169.99 and comes with a $20 Best Buy gift card, a Sony 15.5″ Widescreen Laptop with Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor, 4GB memory and Windows 7 for $399.99, DVDs from $3.99, Blu-Ray movies from $7.99, $14.99 Wii games and a 40″ Sony 1080p LCD HDTV for $597.97.
